John Mayer

August 3, 2017 @ 7 p.m.

It’s the legend who breaks all the girls’ hearts, but makes every girl fall in love with him all over again the moment he brings out the guitar: John Mayer. If you’re ready to switch things up a bit, this is the concert for you. A full band, solo acoustic, and the John Mayer Trio will leave your ears tingling with a bit of every style of Mayer we know.

John Mayer is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer. He even studied music at Berklee College of Music in Boston. He never finished college, but moved to Atlanta and began to play at local clubs. He even gained a little following. In 2001, he performed at South by Southwest in Austin and was signed by Aware Record. Later on, Columbia Records stole him and signed him.

John Mayer started off performing acoustic rock, but moved into the blues genre that influenced his music. In 2005, he formed the John Mayer Trio with blue artists B.B. King, Buddy Guy, and Eric Clapton. You can catch all of them at the concert.

OUTCRY: Summer Tour 2017

August 21, 2017 @ 7 p.m.

If you haven’t been to church in a while, this concert tour will give you some inspiration to return to the chapel on Sunday. OUTCRY is bringing together a new lineup for this month only, featuring  Jesus Culture, Lauren Daigle, Bethel Music and speaker Chad Veach, and special guest Martin Smith.

OUTCRY has brought together almost half of a million people since their start in 2015. They were created to celebrate and champion the local church. The creative director for OUTCRY said he’s heard pastors joke about how much they were inspired by the show.

“We have been meeting with pastors, and have heard many of them say they were just about to quit ministry and coming to OUTCRY has renewed their passion for their calling in church ministry.”

What’s special about the OUTCRY Summer Tour is that the emphasis is on the local church. Artists vary depending on the city, and no two shows are the same. Tickets are as low as $21.95! Don’t miss your chance to be a part of something big, inspired, and communal.
