The Spurs are known for holding some of the best records in the league. Since the Spurs joined the NBA in 1976, they have accumulated the best winning percentage in league history. They have also accumulated the most postseason appearances and the most division titles since joining the league.
This season has also led the Spurs to break even more NBA records. In February, The Spurs’ win against the Indiana Pacers led them to the most consecutive winning seasons in NBA history. When the Spurs beat Minnesota on March fourth, they clinched a playoff spot for the 20th consecutive season – the longest active streak in the NBA. The Spurs are tied for the third-longest playoff streak in NBA history. The Spurs are also tied with the Dallas Cowboys for third place with the longest active streak of winning seasons across the four major professional sports. This year, they will be making their 20th consecutive playoff appearance.
The first-round playoff schedule will be announced shortly after the end of the regular season. The schedule will be announced in less than a week. The NBA Playoffs will start on April 15th.
